Wolverine store staff to take temporary e-commerce roles

Footwear group Wolverine World Wide has said its supply chain is operating at “near-full capacity” and that its logistics operations are at full strength, in spite of the coronavirus outbreak.

The Michigan-based company said its 90 retail stores will be closed until at least March 27, but it said it to move some of the people who normally work in those stores into temporary roles to support its e-commerce business, which it described as having good momentum.
