High-end footwear brand Samuel Hubbard has released a line of shoes made from 100% merino wool. Called Hubbard Dreams, the collection aims to combine the comfort, durability and antimicrobial features of merino wool with the support and feel of a more conventional trainer. 

"I started noticing how wool is used in shoes around the world,” said Bruce Katz, Samuel Hubbard's CEO. “After 11 months of experimenting with different types of wool, we finally brought this collection to life.”

The shoes are crafted in Portugal, using merino wool felts imported from Germany. Finnish company Finproject makes the shoe’s XL Extralight Supersoft outsole, said to be lightweight, shock-absorbing and flexible. 

Samuel Hubbard says the line, which comes in five styles and 27 colours, was inspired by adventures through Scandinavia.
