2021 UITIC Congress will take place in China

UITIC, the International Union of Shoe Industry Technicians, has announced that the host country for its twenty-first congress in 2021 will be China. It has not yet confirmed exactly where in China the event will take place or the exact dates.

This will be the second time the UITIC Congress has taken place in China; the eighteenth Congress in 2013 took place in Dongguan and Guangzhou.

A scientific committee will be in charge of selecting contributions from speakers, who are likely to represent footwear institutes around the world and R&D departments in footwear companies, or be footwear experts in their own right.
