Haven wraps Vans Vault sneakers in leather

The latest shoes to emerge from the Vault by Vans line are leather-clad sneakers created in collaboration with Haven, a Canada-based specialty footwear and apparel retailer. The sneakers are designed around the silhouettes of two Vans classics — the Sk8-Hi and Era — but are reimagined with calfskin leather and suede uppers.

According to Haven, the Sk8-Hi Decon LX has deconstructed upper, a leather outer panel, and suede interior panel, finished with a heavy gauged tonal stitch side stripe; the OG Era LX has calfskin at the toe and suede at the side panels. Both models have pigskin leather lining.

This collaboration is the latest from the Vault by Vans line, which Vans launched in 2003 to bring modern, artistic takes on some of its most iconic shoes. As Vans’ premium offering, Vault shoes typically cost significantly more than the brand's traditional lines. For example, Vans classic sneakers typically cost $50 to $80, while the Haven line debuts around $120 to $135.
