More than 150 shoe manufacturers are expected to travel to the Peruvian city of Trujillo in September to take part in the country’s first national footwear fair. 

The event, which will run from September 23-29, will bring together shoe companies, material suppliers (including those making leather) and machinery manufacturers. It will take place at the Rinconada complex. 

It has been timed to coincide with the city’s International Festival of Spring, which brings in tourists from many overseas destinations. This will see Peruvian footwear companies take part in a fashion show to display their products.
