Special anniversaries for Tecnica Group brands
Italian outdoor footwear company Tecnica Group has reported earnings of more than €400 million for 2018, an increase compared to the previous year of 8%. Pre-tax earnings rose by 25% year on year to reach €40.5 million.

Company president, Alberto Zanatta, said the group had taken “great satisfaction” from its 2018 results and said it holds high hopes for 2019. He pointed out that this year makes important anniversaries for two of its brands.

Nordica, the group’s ski-boot brand, is 80 years old in 2019 and, at the same time, lifestyle footwear brand Moon Boot celebrates its fiftieth birthday.

Mr Zanatta said Tecnica Group was marking these special anniversaries by “strengthening further these iconic brands”. For example, he said Moon Boot had launched a summer collection for the first time in 2019.
