Northampton-based footwear firm Tricker’s held an event in London in early formally to mark its 190th anniversary.

Joseph Tricker founded the company in 1829 and quickly built a reputation for high levels of quality and durability. Joseph Tricker’s son-in-law, Walter James Barltrop, designed and created the world’s first country boot in 1840.

Tricker’s has remained a family business and its boots and shoes are now available in 43 countries around the world.
