Izmir shoe event goes ahead

More than 70 exhibiting companies took part in the 2019 edition of Shoe Expo Izmir, which took place in the Turkish city from April 24-26.

Organisers said they expected a total of 8,000 visitors over the three days, including a healthy number of buyers from overseas.

For the fourth time, the event also included an international shoe design competition.
