Geox launches review process after sales decline
Italian footwear group Geox has reported full-year sales figures for 2018 of €827.2 million. This represents a decline of 6.5% compared to the figure for 2017.

In response, Geox has launched what founder Dr Mario Moretti Polegato called an “in-depth strategic, organisational and distribution review process”, to run from 2019-2021.

He said this process would help Geox become leaner and develop “a truly client-centric and omnichannel operating model”. This, he added, would allow the group to respond quickly and effectively to consumer requirements and “sudden changes in the market”.

Dr Moretti Polegato went on to say that another ambition is that this process will help Geox expand its target audience and bring new customers to the brand.
