Robert Clergerie to share its chief executive

Reports from Paris say the parent group of high-end footwear company Robert Clergerie, First Heritage Brands, has asked the shoe brand’s chief executive, Perry Oosting, to take over as chief executive of another of its brands, fashion label Sonia Rykiel. Mr Oosting will continue in his role at Robert Clergerie too.

Perry Oosting is a former managing director of Gucci and Prada.

First Heritage Brands is part of the Li & Fung Group and also owns the company that claims to be the oldest leathergoods brand in the world, Belgium’s Delvaux.
