Leather shoes increase their share of Spanish total

Leather shoes accounted for 63.8% of total volume and for almost 83% of value. Leather shoes’ share of the total volume went up between 2016 and 2017 by 1.2%, while their share of total value went up slightly too, by 0.1%.
In contrast, the share of total volume of shoes made by synthetic materials went down by 11.4% year on year. At the same time, the share of total value of synthetic shoes went down by 0.9%.
