Brazilian Leather heads to Vietnam

06/07/2018
The Brazilian Leather project, an initiative developed by the Centre for the Brazilian Tanning Industry (CICB) to promote hides and skins produced from the country, will support JBS Couros and footwear group Alexander as they display their products at the forthcoming Shoes and Leather Vietnam exhibition in Ho Chi Minh city (July 11-13).

In addition, the Brazilian Leather project will have its own stand at the fair, where it will display skins from several other Brazilian tanneries.

Rogério Cunha, from CICB Trade Intelligence, said Vietnam was the destination for 6.3% of Brazil’s leather exports in 2017, making it a relevant market for the country.
