Daniel Craig shoes raise money for LHTBI
07/02/2018
Attendees made contributions to the UK Leather & Hide Trades’ Benevolent Institution (LHTBI) and, in return, received an entry for the prize draw, organised on the institution’s behalf by Ian Walker, executive chairman of Clayton Leather Group.
There was a very special prize. High-end footwear brand Crockett & Jones had donated a signed pair of Alex shoes, an Oxford style men’s shoe, in black calf and in UK size 9. The shoes were part of a collection that Crockett & Jones made for actor Daniel Craig for the most recent James Bond film, Spectre, in 2015.
Scottish and debonair, like James Bond, the winner of the shoes on the night was Iain McFadyen, chief executive of the Scottish Leather Group.
The prize draw raised almost £2,000 for LHTBI.
