Gold medal for La Rioja’s footwear research centre

CTCR, the centre for footwear technology and research in the Spanish autonomous community of La Rioja has won recognition for its work from the European Union’s agency for the economy and competitiveness, AEDEEC. The agency awarded CTCR its gold medal.

It said the footwear research centre merited the award for the quality and the diversity of its work. CTCR currently has 29 different research projects on the go, covering environmental best practice, biotechnology, nanotechnology and Industry 4.0.
