Footwear chief is the latest to leave Under Armour

Sports brand Under Armour has confirmed the departure of its head of footwear, Peter Ruppe. It gave no indication of why he has left his role.

His replacement is Ryan Drew, who previously served as general manager of Under Armour’s basketball division. 

Mr Ruppe becomes the fourth executive to leave the company this month. At the end of October, it was announced that co-founder Kip Fulks would take a sabbatical from his position at the company. 

A week later, it was revealed that Andy Donkin, chief marketing officer, and Pam Catlett, senior vice-president and general manager of the women’s and youth categories, would leave their positions by the end of November.
