Dhaka to host new footwear and leathergoods show

Bangladeshi companies specialising in footwear and leathergoods will have the opportunity to showcase their products to potential overseas buyers at a new show in Dhaka this month.

The first edition of the Bangladesh Leather Footwear & Leathergoods International Sourcing Show will take place from November 16-18 in the country’s capital. The Bangladeshi ministry of commerce is one of the organisers of the event. 

The exhibitors will display their latest collections of footwear, leather bags and accessories. There will also be a series of seminars on key issues facing Bangladesh’s footwear and leather industry, which will include local and international speakers. 

The organisers expect visitors from 34 different countries. They will include global brands, international buyers, designers, distributors and potential foreign investors.
