January-September results show rise in volume and value for Stella

19/10/2017
Footwear group Stella International recorded revenues of more than $1.2 billion in the first nine months of 2017, an increase of 1.8% compared to the same period in 2016.

In terms of volume, it sold 42.2 million pairs of shoes over the nine-month period, up by 5.5%.

Stella said the increases in value and volume for January-September 2017 period were mostly because of growing demand for its “fashion athletic products”, although this growth rate gradually “normalised” in the third quarter of the year, while demand for its casual and fashion footwear became more stable after a number of quarters of decline.
