Première Vision satisfied with new bag and shoe zone

                    They came from 129 different countries, with overseas visitors making up 73% of the total attendance. The number of international visitors increased 8.5% year-on-year.
The top visitor countries remained unchanged, with growth in numbers from France (+5%), Italy (+3%), the UK (+4.7%) and Spain (+4.8%). There was also a significant increase in the number of visitors from Japan.
The exhibition featured 1.954 exhibitors, 3% more than in September 2016.
The event’s organisers noted that there was “a marked vitality” in the leather sector, which meets in Paris as part of Première Vision Leather. It said there had been “very fine performances” from the newly launched Bag and Shoe Manufacturing zone, as well as at a series of round-table conferences held to discuss the leather industry.
