ISA TanTec adds “sustainable leather laces” to its product range
In what it calls an effort to “further strengthen” its position in the leather industry, tanning group ISA TanTec is broadening its promotion of LaceTec with the launch of a new logo for the product.

Using a proprietary tanning formulation, ISA TanTec has developed LaceTec to offer shoe manufacturers what it claims is “the world’s first truly sustainable leather lace”. All of the hides it is using to produce LaceTec leather laces have a US origin and are processed in tanneries with a gold rating from multi-stakeholder body the Leather Working Group. It says all the laces it produces are “traceable back to the slaughterhouse”.

ISA TanTec has added LaceTec to its range of branded products, which also includes finished belts and leather trims for use as labels on jeans and other garments.
