São Paulo-based children’s shoe manufacturer Kidy has said it has a plan in place to increase the number of shoes it exports from 7% of total production at the moment to 15%. It has three manufacturing sites and produces a total of 23,000 pairs per day.

The company has decided to concentrate its efforts to grow exports on Middle Eastern and North African markets. It already has a presence in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Libya, to which it wants to ship more children’s shoes. At the same time, export sales director, Rodrigo Nunes, will travel to Qatar, Bahrain, Oman and Kuwait to try to find new customers there.
