Some confidence returns to Turkish footwear

Turkish footwear company Beta has said it is optimistic about a return to growth in exports of shoes to Russia.

In recent comments, Beta general manager, Barbaros Akyil, said that 2016 was a hard year for everyone in the industry, not least because of ongoing tensions between Turkey and Russia. But Mr Akyil said he is confident of growth in 2017 and 2018.
