€30,000 shoes include delivery by helicopter

Italian designer Antonio Vietri has launched a gold-embossed, diamond-encrusted women’s shoe collection with a price tag of €30,000 at the Leatherworld Middle East show in Dubai.

The price includes delivery by helicopter, according to show organisers.

“Buyers can customise them with pearls, Swarovski crystals or diamonds,” said Mr Vietri. “Gulf customers and retailers love luxury and this is something that they’ve never seen before.”
