Apiccaps elects new president
Porto-based designer and shoe manufacturer Luís Onofre has emerged as the new president of Portuguese footwear industry association Apiccaps after elections at the end of April. He succeeds the founder and chief executive of the Kyaia Group, Fortunato Frederico.

Mr Onofre represents the third generation of a family-run shoe company and specialises in high-end designs for women. His customers have included Michelle Obama and Queen Letizia of Spain.
