Intersport invests in new distribution facility in Germany

Sporting goods group Intersport will invest an estimated €40 million in a new distribution centre at its Heilbronn site in Germany.

The project, which is scheduled for completion by the end of 2018, will give the company an extra 10,000 square-metres in warehousing space. It said on making the announcement that its aim is to provide faster delivery to retailers in the region.
