India’s top leather-sector exporters named

India’s Council for Leather Exports has named the sector’s top-three performing exporters for financial year 2015-2016.

Chennai-based KH Exports, which has came top, Tata International was second and Mirza International from Kanpur took third spot. Each of these three companies makes finished footwear as well as leather and they all make shoes for prominent European and North American brands.

All three, plus a long list of other high-performing export companies will receive recognition at the opening of the 2017 India International Leather Fair, which takes place in Chennai from January 31-February 3.
