Brazilian manufacturer announces two new production sites

Brazilian shoe manufacturer Usaflex has announced two new footwear factories in the Vale do Sinos region of the state of Rio Grande do Sul.

The company said each of the new facilities will employ 1,000 people, meaning it intends to create 2,000 new jobs in total.

Usaflex already has seven factories in Rio Grande do Sul and a workforce of 2,800 people. Its production capacity at the moment is around 24,000 pairs per day.
