Leather shoe exports up for Pakistan, but value falls

In the first two months of its current financial year, July and August 2016, Pakistan exported 1.9 million pairs of shoes with a value of $19.7 million.

This compares to the 1.7 million pairs with a value of  $20.3 million that were exported in the corresponding months last year, which means that the volume went up by 10.9%, but that the value fell by 3.2%.
