22/09/2016
Footwear manufacturer Flex (formerly called Flextronics) is to invest $120 million in a new factory in the city of Zapopan, the Mexican state of Jalisco.

The company has said the new facility will be ready to start production in three years’ time and will have the capacity to manufacture 10 million pairs of shoes a year for Nike, all of which will be destined for overseas markets.

This output from Flex will double the state of Jalisco’s footwear exports in volume.
