UNIDO seeks training programme partners for Kanpur project

The United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) has issued a request for proposals for qualified individuals or institutions to deliver a training programme in leather and footwear production Kanpur in India.

Combining classroom-based and e-learning, the training programme will run from October 2016 until June 2017 and will aim to boost the skills and knowledge of workers in the Kanpur and Unnao leather clusters.

The training programme will be part of a wider Kanpur Leather Development Project, which has funding from India’s central government.

Interested parties have until August 21, 2016, to submit proposals.
