Eighteenth annual Shoes and Leather Vietnam show opens

The 2016 Shoes and Leather Vietnam exhibition opened in Ho Chi Minh City on July 13. This is the eighteenth year in which the event, organised by Lefaso, the country’s main leather, shoe and bag association, has taken place. Lefaso described the event as a showcase for finished products, new ideas and an insight into tanning machinery and equipment. The event was also an opportunity for Vietnamese businesses to become acquainted with international providers and importers.

More than 500 manufacturers took part, from 27 countries including Bangladesh, Germany, France and India, as well as Vietnam itself. It was the best attended and most successful event that Lefaso Vietnam has held.
