High-end Italian footwear brand Baldinini has said it intends to open “a small museum” to put on display documents, catalogues and materials it has put together in the course of its 115-year history.

The company, based in San Mauro Pascoli in eastern Italy, said in recent comments to local media that these materials combine to make “a precious patrimony”, which it wants to put on show for footwear lovers.

Baldinini is now making around 400,000 pairs of shoes a year and operates 130 own-brand stores in all parts of the world. Its most recent store openings were in Krasnoyarsk in Siberia and in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
