400 brands sign up for inaugural Momad Shoes

                    Ifema ran Modacalzado as a dedicated footwear event twice a year in Madrid until 2013. Early attempts to integrate a footwear exhibition into the wider fashion event Momad Metrópolis left many footwear companies, long-term exhibitors at Modacalzado, feeling dissatisfied. In October 2015 Ifema announced it would run Momad Shoes as a separate event, a month later in the calendar than Momad Metrópolis.
Total exhibition space reserved by brands is 9,000 square-metres. There will be six segments exhibiting new collections representing high end, young fashion, casual, large volume, new designers and children.
