Jalisco prepares for new footwear event

The main footwear industry body in the Mexican state of Jalisco, CICEJ, is to go ahead with a new exhibition, Aparador.

Aimed principally at manufacturers and buyers of fashion shoes for women, which has long been the specialism of footwear manufacturers in this part of Mexico, the inaugural edition of Aparador will take place in Guadalajara on March 7 and 8.

The organisers have said they expected visitors from high-end retailers from all parts of Latin America. The event is invitation-only.
