New executive committee for Bangladesh industry body

The Leather Engineers and Technologists Society of Bangladesh (LETSB) has named a new executive committee for 2016-2018, electing a 23-member cabinet.

Mr Minhaz Ahmed Chowdhury, production manager of Bata Bangladesh, and Mr AKM Mushfiqur Rahman, managing director of Accenture Leather Products Limited were elected president and general secretary respectively.

The new committee took up office on January 20.
