Tamara Mellon brand enters Chapter 11

Tamara Mellon, the eponymous footwear, handbag and apparel brand founded in 2013 by the co-founder of Jimmy Choo has filed for Capter 11 protection from creditors.

In a statement, the New York-based brand said it expected to emerge from Chapter 11 within two months and that no employees would lose their jobs. “All of us at Tamara Mellon look forward to pursuing our passion long into the future,” the statement said.
