Foot health technology provider makes senior appointments

A specialist Liverpool-based provider of foot health products ALG has appointed two new senior managers to boost its bid to grow internationally.

Former Asda and Tesco executive Matt Guixe has taken over as chief operating officer of ALG and Jackie Fisher, formerly of the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, has joined the company as chief financial officer.

ALG makes products for podiatry, physiotherapy, orthotics and prosthetics, with a range of products specifically aimed at helping people with diabetes maintain good foot health. Its brands include Diaped, Podotech and Slimflex.
