Rogers rebrands its foams division

31/07/2015
The high-performance foams division of protective materials manufacturer Rogers Corporation has officially changed its name to Elastomeric Material Solutions. The New England-based company said it believes the name-change better reflects its “growing range of products and capabilities”.

Vice-president for the Elastomeric Material Solutions, John Quinn, said on making the announcement that the decision was also the result of dialogue with customers and employees around the world. “More than just foams, we are a technology-based material solution provider,” he said.

Elastomeric materials are, by definition, any resilient material composed of chainlike molecules, or polymers, that recover their original shape after being stretched. Rogers Elastomeric Material Solutions produces a variety of elastomeric products such as Poron foams, Bisco silicones and XRD extreme impact protection materials.
