Garment and footwear group VF Corporation has reported a 10% increase in sales for Timberland in the second quarter of 2015.

Growth rates for Timberland during the quarter were highest in Europe, followed by Asia, followed by the Americas.

World Leather asked VF Corporation to give details in terms of volume of pairs sold and the value of these sales, but the group said: “We do not disclose this level of detail in our reporting.”

It records figures for Timberland as part of the figures it releases for its Outdoor and Action Sports Coalition, which also includes outdoor brand The North Face and casual footwear brand Vans.

In the first half of 2015, this trio of brands brought in revenues of just over $3 billion, an increase of 5.2% compared to the first half of 2014.

VF acquired Timberland in 2011. It has set itself a target of having Timberland achieve annual revenues of $3.1 billion by the end of 2019.
