Durban footwear firm has export ambitions

Men’s footwear manufacturer Hopewell Footwear has said it plans to increase its exports from 10% of production at the moment to around 50% within three years.

At the moment, the Durban, South Africa-based company makes around 1,500 pairs per day and has said it will aim especially to boost sales of shoes under its Kingston brand in other African countries.
