Assocalzaturifici elects its first woman president

Italian footwear manufacturers’ association Assocalzaturifici (Assocal) has chosen Annarita Pilotti, co-founder with her husband of high-end footwear brand Loriblu, as its new president.

She will head up the organisation for the next four years.

Before founding Loriblu with her husband in 1995, Ms Pilotti worked as a police officer.
