JRC develops retroreflection for leather shoes
Trimmings and coatings specialist JRC Reflex has launched a new set of products for the sportswear sector, in response to demand for updates on its retroreflective products.
As well as a sparkling retroreflective trim, it has adapted a similar material for leather shoe uppers.
The microfibre is available in three thicknesses (from 1mm to 1.4mm) and is coated with the company’s signature super black reflective coating.
The French company - which supplied the retroreflective fabric Nike used for its medal winners’ podium jackets at the London 2012 Olympics – was founded in 1988. Based in Romans, France, it merged with Italy’s IBR in 2008 and invested in production facilities there.
