Shoes are good news for Pollini parent group
Italian luxury group Aeffe has reported revenues of €251.5 million for 2014, flat compared to the year before. From this, the group, whose brands include Moschino, Alberta Ferretti, Pollini, Emanuel Ungaro and Ce´dric Charlier, achieved earnings before tax of €25.7 million, almost 25% up on the figure for 2014.

Across the board, footwear and leathergoods performed strongly for the group, with revenues for this division increasing by 19.5% year on year to reach €86m in 2014.

There was also good news on the domestic front. With sales of high-end shoes and leathergoods in the Italian market suffering severely from the effects of the economic downturn in recent years, Aeffe has reported that 45.1% of its sales revenues in 2014 were from Italy, growing year on year by 8.7% to reach €113.6 million.
