Reports from Portugal say footwear group Malite is preparing to open a new factory in the east of the country.

Malite’s new production unit will be in the town of Pinhel and will create a minimum of 30 new jobs.

In 2014, another Portuguese footwear group, Eurovilde, opened a new factory in Pinhel, employing around 80 local people.
