New IBGE study shows a rise in production costs in Brazil

Of note is the fact that the rise in August, of almost 0.5%, follows five straight months of falling production costs, and that the study showed footwear to be among the sectors with the sharpest rises.
IBGE’s monthly analysis of production costs gauges variations in the cost of materials in 23 industrial sectors.
