Desma founder dies

Walter Schatz, who ran the company from 1965 to 1991, passed away at the age of 86.
“We bow down in recognition of his lifetime achievement which we will keep in grateful memory,” said the company in a statement.
“What he started passionately, that was to make Desma the globally leading supplier of excellent machines and moulds for the rubber processing industry, can we continue successfully.”
