Airline CEO mixes John Lobb shoes with unusual shirts

He was born in Colombia, but perhaps it’s only natural for Mark Dunkerley to wear loud, flowery, loose Hawaiian shirts to work every day because he is the chief executive of Hawaiian Airlines and is based in Honolulu.

However, when it comes to footwear, even though he has a penchant for flip-flops at the weekend, his choice for work is hand-made, made-to-measure shoes from London-based luxury brand John Lobb.

Mr Dunkerley featured in the Financial Times’s Power Dressing column on August 1 and said he liked to have a contrast between bright Aloha shirts on top and more conservative shoes and trousers (from Ermenegildo Zegna) below.
