Korean encouragement for Spanish brands

Spain’s export promotions agency will not have had to work too hard to persuade footwear brands there to sign up to take part in the third edition of an event called Spain Fashion Exhibition in the capital of South Korea, Seoul, this July.

Figures show that in the first three months of 2014, footwear exports from Spain to South Korea doubled in volume compared to the same period in 2013, reaching 420,000 pairs.

In value terms, with total export earnings of €6.7 million, growth was 48% year on year.
