Full-year figures show an increase of more than 30% for Bangladeshi leather shoes

Full-year figures show total export values for leather footwear, finished leather, and leathergoods of $1.3 billion, compared to almost $980 million for the previous financial year, an increase of 32.6%.
Exports of leather shoes increased by more than 30% to $550 million, while those of finished leather increased by more than 25% to $505.5 million. The total for leathergoods was lower, at $240 million, but the rate of increase greater at just under 50%.
