Fabio Aromatici to leave Assocalzaturifici

Assocalzaturifici managing director, Fabio Aromatici, is to leave his position on July 1 and take up a new role with the company that runs the Milan exhibition centre, Fiera Milano.

Mr Aromatici has worked at the Italian footwear manufacturers association, formerly called ANCI, for more than six years.

News of his departure began to leak out in early June after the Assocalzaturifici general assembly in Milan. In the following days, the association confirmed the change when it said its training and special projects manager, Eugenia Girotti, would become interim managing director while recruitment of a permanent replacement for Fabio Aromatici continues.
