Footwear exports up by 10% in Q1 in Portugal

Portugal’s footwear industry brought in export earnings of €481.3 million in the first quarter of 2014, the country’s national statistics institute, the INE, announced at the start of June.

This figure represents an increase of 10.1% compared to the export value the industry achieved in the same period last year.
